Women’s bodies are equipped with powerful muscles, joints, and organs that make it possible for a baby to be birthed safely. With modern lifestyle habits of sitting and less movement, a woman’s body needs support getting back into normal physiologic shape. Getting the body back into shape is a matter of applying simple ideas to strengthen and stabilize the pelvis, decrease tight muscles to allow give, and lots of normal physiologic movement.
This is a class intended for labor support professionals to assist their clients with movements and exercises they can encourage before, during, and after labor.
